Mountain America Credit Union provides three Medical benefit plans through Intermountain Health Care for full-time employees. Premiums are offered for single, double, and family coverage.
Dental benefits are provided to all employees by Delta Dental, which is the largest dental provider in the nation. It provides employees with access to network of providers in Utah as well as providers out of State.
Mountain America Credit Union provides 401(k) Retirement Plan benefits to ALL employees. The company matches 100% of the first 5% of your contribution day-one.
Paid holidays - Mountain America has eleven holidays per year. Full-time employees are paid for 8 hours, 3/4 full-time employees (32 - 39 hours per week) are paid 6 hours, and part-time employees are paid for 4 hours.
Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues each pay period. Both full time and part time employees are eligible for paid time off. The number of PTO hours accrued depends on an employees' length of service.
Short Term Disability paid time off is available to full-time and 3/4 full-time employees. Short term disability paid leave accrues each pay period. Accrual is based on length of service.
Mountain America recognizes the need for employees to mourn when family members pass away. Full-time, 3/4 full-time and part-time employees are eligible for Bereavement/Funeral leave.
Mountain America Credit Union offers educational assistance to all employees who have completed at least six months of service and whose job performance meets expectations.
Employees in management level positions receive slightly higher reimbursement. Reimbursement to employees in management level positions is based on years of service.
All employees have access to our Cafeteria Plan. Through this plan employees can receive a tax savings benefit for payroll deductions that help cover some of the costs of dependent care and certain medical expenses not covered by medical or dental insurance. Mountain America has implemented the 14-1/2 month use-it-or-lose-it rule which means employees have 14-1/2 months to use their money in their Cafeteria Plan.
Mountain America provides full-time employees a $50,000 Group Life Insurance plan at no charge. Mountain America also offers full-time employees the opportunity to purchase supplemental life insurance at reasonable rates.
Mountain America provides full-time employees disability coverage at no cost to employees. The plan is designed to protect the earning power of plan participants by insuring a certain percentage of their monthly income when they cannot work due to a covered injury or accident.
