At Mountain America Credit Union, we have an inclusive interview and selection process that was designed to assist us in selecting outstanding individuals who fit in our
corporate culture.
Pre-employment Screening
In order to effectively serve our members’ financial needs, employees must practice financial responsibility in their own lives. We only interview candidates who have a satisfactory credit history and can advise members in a manner that is in keeping with their own financial practices.
Interview Process
Once your application is received, it will be promptly reviewed by a member of our Recruiting Department. If your skills, abilities, and experience is a match for the position you are applying for, you will be contacted to schedule a brief telephone interview.
After satisfactorily completing the phone interview, you may be invited to our Corporate Offices to meet with a representative from our recruiting department to further discuss your qualifications.
In these interviews, you will be doing 80% of the talking, answering questions with specific examples of your outstanding past achievements. This will tells us a little about your prior actions in the workplace and how you might perform in the future.
These interviews will also allow you to get a feel for Mountain America Credit Union and ask any questions you might have. We understand that you have options in selecting an employer, and we want you to be able to discover if Mountain America Credit Union is a fit for you.
Pre-employment Assessments
In addition to the interviews, you may be asked to complete two (2) pre-employment assessments. One measures your “work values” (such as honesty, integrity, etc.), and the other measures your ability to realize job satisfaction in the position for which you applied. These assessments will help us make an objective hiring decision, and put the best candidate into the right position to ensure their success.
