Miracle Makers Bring Joy to a Family Struggling with Grief

For Christopher and Monique Kauppi, the holidays are bittersweet this year. A little over 12 months ago, their daughter, Aubrie, was born with a rare genetic disorder. Days that should have been filled with joy instead turned to intense sadness as they said goodbye to their precious daughter just three months after her birth.  
 

This Thanksgiving marked the one-year anniversary of her passing.  
 

Though Christopher and Monique are getting by, they still face the sorrow and challenges that come after loss―and 2020 isn’t making it any easier. On top of dealing with everything else, their kitchen appliances are all on the verge of giving out. Christopher’s mother, Karen, reached out to the Miracle Makers to ask for help.
