Mountain America Credit Union and Young Money University Offer Free Financial Seminar at Boise State University
Mountain America Credit Union continues its partnership with Young Money Media in sponsoring Young Money University (YMU), a financial success program for college-age young adults throughout the Intermountain West. This March, the tour will be returning to Boise State University with four scheduled presentation times.
Todd Romer, Young Money Media founder, will offer his high-energy presentation, “Five Powerful Steps to Live a Life That Fits Your Dreams,” on March 10, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and March 11, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. The free event will be held in the Imaginations Lab, Micron Business and Economics Building at 1129 Euclid Avenue, and is open to the public.
“Currently, four out of five Gen Z members ages 18-21 say money is a leading cause of stress. We must reach out with the right message at the right time to help these young people prepare for a lifetime of future success,” notes Tony Rasmussen, vice president of financial education at Mountain America. “This Young Money University presentation is aimed to help empower younger generations to find their right path toward financial success.”
“I’ve seen a high level of engagement and interest from 18 to 26-year-olds to do money differently for the long haul. I’m proud to work with Mountain America as they pursue their mission to help members achieve their financial dreams,” adds Young Money Media Founder Todd Romer. “I’m excited to return to Boise to share my insights on how to dream, save, spend, invest and give money differently to achieve dreams and a life of more purpose."
