How business remote deposit works
The business remote deposit process is incredibly easy. All you need is a low-cost check image scanner, which we can provide, and the business remote deposit system. The system inspects each check to ensure high-quality images are captured and transmitted.
Use business remote deposit with these simple steps:
- Scan your checks.
- Review the entry. If an image or deposit amount is not sufficiently clear, you will be asked to rescan it.
- Adjust the amount. Key in the correct information.
- Balance the total. Once you’ve entered the amounts, you are taken to a screen to verify the totals. It's just like filling out a deposit slip.
- Securely submit the deposit using the business remote deposit file utility. The deposit will then be credited to your account.¹
Single sign-on for business remote deposit
Now you have a convenient way to make remote deposits without an extra login. With single sign-on, you can access remote deposit capture and check images and reports directly from online banking.

- Log in to online banking at macu.com
- Click the Business Remote Deposit widget

Enabling single sign-on for sub-users
Step 1
Ensure the sub-user has access to online banking.
- Log in to online banking at macu.com
- Select the Business Admin widget
- Select Roles
- Select Edit Permission for the Role
- Check Remote Deposit Capture
Step 2
Give the sub-user business remote deposit permissions (must be done by admin).
- Choose the Business Remote Deposit widget in online banking at macu.com
- Select Add User and enter:
- Full Name
- Username
- Cash Mgmt ID (must be sub-user’s online banking username)
- Select Permissions
- Select Update (this will open more permissions)
Select the additional permissions you would like the sub-user to have (access options through each drop-down).
