Mountain America Partners with USANA Kids Eat to Fight Hunger
Each day 56,000 children along Utah’s Wasatch Front wonder where their next meal will come from. The problem is compounded on the weekends when school lunch is not available. Without access to proper nutrition, a child's development and learning can be significantly delayed. The USANA Kids Eat program provides nutritious meals to at-risk youth to ensure accessibility to meals on weekends and extended holiday breaks.
Mountain America Credit Union is pleased to partner with USANA Kids Eat to donate 80 backpacks filled with food to the Lied Boys and Girls Club in Salt Lake City. In September, nearly 50 employees served at the USANA Kids Eat warehouse, preparing backpacks for kids in need. For the past two years, Mountain America has lent a hand to USANA Kids Eat, via our annual Mountain America Month of Caring program. Click here to join in the fight against childhood hunger.
