Mountain America honors first responders on the 18th anniversary of 9/11
Mountain America is proud to join the community in recognizing those who fight to defend our freedoms and keep our communities safe.
More than 400 first responders were killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and over 2,600 first responders who provided aid at Ground Zero have since died as a result of exposure to toxins. In honor of the 18th anniversary of the terrorist attacks, Mountain America delivered meals to more than 1,000 first responders at 23 agencies in Utah and Idaho.
Additionally, Mountain America sponsored the 18th Annual Healing Fields in Sandy, Utah, on September 11, 2019. Established to remember the brave men and women killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the Utah Healing Field showcases an incredible display over of 3,000 flags. All proceeds of the event benefited Honor 365, a non-profit dedicated to serving military and first responders.
