Q: What do I do if there is an error on my credit report?
We recommend you file a dispute directly with all credit bureaus showing any questionable items. You can fill out a dispute with Experian, TransUnion and Equifax, who is required to investigate and respond within 30 days. However, it’s important to note that there is no guarantee the disputed item will be removed from your credit report following the investigation.
