Once the certificate matures, there is a 10-day grace period to decide what you would like to do with the money. You can deposit or withdraw money or change the terms of the certificate. The certificate will automatically roll over to an equal term at the current rate if no action is taken within the 10-day grace period. Learn more about certificates.
