Program Rules
Mountain America Visa® Cash Back Credit Card
- Rebates for qualifying purchases on your cash back Visa Card are based on purchases made throughout each quarter after any purchase credits, and excluding cash advances, advances made to pay off other loans, illegal transactions, or any other non-purchase related increase of your Visa account balance, e.g. fees, interest charges.
- The amount of any rebate will be calculated by multiplying the amount of qualifying Visa card purchases made in each quarter by the stated cash back percentage. The current cash back percentage is 1.5%.
- The quarterly rebate for the previous quarter’s qualifying purchases will be credited to your Mountain America Credit Union primary share savings account by the end of the week following the end of each quarter.
- Your account must be in good standing (i.e. not delinquent or canceled, or otherwise not usable for charges) to receive any rebate. Mountain America Credit Union reserves the right to terminate or suspend your standing in the program if your account is not in good standing.
- The rebate will only be credited to the accounts of members that have an open Mountain America Visa Cash Back Credit Card at the time of the quarterly rebate payment.
- Any earned rebate will be forfeited if the member changes the credit card loan program they are participating in prior to the time of the quarterly rebate payment.
- Errors in the rebate calculation can occur and may be corrected by Mountain America Credit Union at any time without notice. Members can review their calculated rebate at any time by visiting a Mountain America Credit Union branch location or calling 1-800-748-4302.
- Reasonable steps will be taken by Mountain America Credit Union to ensure proper rebate calculation. Mountain America Credit Union must be notified of any errors in quarterly rebate calculations within ninety (90) days from when the rebate was issued.
- This program may be changed or terminated at any time without notice, restriction or penalty. If Mountain America Credit Union terminates the Visa Cash Back Card program for its membership, Mountain America Credit Union will provide a payment for unpaid rebates at that time for participants in the program.
- Any liability for taxes including federal, state, or local income, sales, use, or other taxes or gratuities imposed on a rebate received from this program will be the sole responsibility of the participant receiving the reward and not Mountain America Credit Union, the rewards provider, or any of its affiliates.
- Errors in publication of materials may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors at any time including, adjusting past rebate amounts or percentages.
