Financial fraud continues to be a concern in our communities across the nation. It seems like there is always a story in the news about a fraud scam or a fraudster who has victimized consumers. Follow these tips to protect yourself from fraud:

• Be suspicious if anyone contacts you unexpectedly by phone, text, email or social media about your financial accounts.
  


• Call the service center at 1-800-748-4302 or visit a branch to verify requests to send money, deposit checks or access your account.
  


• Set up account alerts in digital banking.

• Share personal or sensitive information with someone who CALLS YOU.


• Click on links from unsolicited emails or text messages.
  


• Give anyone access to your online or mobile banking account.


• Receive money from someone and send it somewhere else.
