If you are a Food Nanny fan, you’ve obviously heard of kamut flour. Kamut is an ancient grain that has never been modified. Lizi relates the story of her mother discovering kamut in Italy, bringing it home to start the original Food Nanny, and how Lizi took everything she learned from her mom and built a new generation of followers!
Lizi has expanded her interests to include many things these days—like dairy farming, for one. She discusses how meeting Fannie the cow changed her life and her business. She says she instantly felt connected to her soul. Then came Goldie, the mini jersey cow. Watch the full video to learn more about these amazing animals and why Lizi’s relationship with them is so special.
Many of Lizi’s family members are involved in The Food Nanny enterprise. She has even cultivated a relationship with her brother, David—16 years her senior. “We’re closer than we’ve ever been,” she gushes.
