A Cinco de Mayo Surprise for First Responders
As a “thank you” for their tireless dedication to serving our community during this challenging time, the Dream Team wanted to do something special for our first responders.
In a celebration of gratitude, dozens of police cars arrived at El Asadero restaurant in Salt Lake City on May 5, Cinco de Mayo. They were greeted with applause, music and a delicious lunch.
During the event, a handful of $100 Visa® gift cards were tucked away inside some of the take-out containers! We’ve since learned that the officers who were lucky enough to find the hidden surprises have been donating their gift cards to others in need.
