Mountain America Credit Union Donates $15,000 to Portneuf Health Trust

As a proud sponsor of the Idaho State Bengals, Mountain America Credit Union committed to making a donation to a charity for every first down completed by the Bengals in the 2018 football season. This year, Mountain America chose the Portneuf Health Trust as the recipient of the Mountain America First Down Donation program.

As a result, Mountain America Credit Union presented $15,000 to the Portneuf Health Trust on December 5, 2018.

Angie Nelson and Kory Carling of Mountain America presented the check to Shawn Menchaca, director of Portneuf Health Trust, along with Pauline Thiros, ISU interim athletic director and Joe Borich, ISU associate athletic director for external.

“Mountain America Credit Union’s partnership will provide much needed mammograms for women who would not otherwise get this critical screening,” said Shaun Menchaca, CEO of Portneuf Health Trust. “We know these screenings save lives, so our whole community is grateful.”

“The Portneuf Health Trust enables so many programs that are vital to the health of Pocatello and surrounding communities,” Nelson said. “Mountain America is proud to support such a valued resource here in Eastern Idaho.”
