Envision Yourself Working at Mountain America | Guiding You Forward

Looking for more than just a job? In this podcast episode, we explore what makes Mountain America a great place to work.

If you’re in the market for a new job, it’s likely you’ve researched more than just salaries. Today, employees want the total package—a competitive salary, robust benefits package and flexible shifts.

At Mountain America Credit Union, we’d like to think we cover all these bases and more! Trent Savage, our chief human resource officer (CHRO), joins us in the podcast studio to talk all things recruiting. So if you’re curious about Mountain America, what we can offer and if the culture here aligns with who you want to be, watch the video above.

In this episode, you’ll learn:

  • The top drivers for people looking for employment.
  • Why Mountain America’s benefits package is so special.
  • What the future at Mountain America looks like.

As the CHRO, and someone who has navigated the team member experience at Mountain America, Trent knows what is most important to people looking for employment. Of course, compensation and benefits are at the top of the list, but so is flexibility. “We know flexibility is an important part of all of our lives,” he says. “We care about that. We care about people’s families.” Watch the video above to hear more about what Mountain America offers new hires and what keeps our team members here.

When it comes to benefits, Trent explains that Mountain America is not just competitive, we are a market leader. One feature that makes our benefits package so special is that the longer you are here, the cheaper your benefits are. That’s definitely a bonus for your bank account! And it doesn’t stop there—Mountain America takes it further. In addition to the standard offerings like medical, dental and vision, Trent points out other perks available to our team members. You have to watch to see what they are!

Growth is part of the future at Mountain America. With that comes change. Processes will change, roles will evolve. But Trent identifies two fundamental factors we don’t want to change as we grow—our focus on the member experience and the team member experience. “That is the core of who we are, and we don’t want to change that,” he says.

Trent is very passionate about what he does here at Mountain America—and we love that! If you’re wondering if we are a good fit for you, click on the video above to learn more about the culture here and how to apply.
