The Dream Team Surprises a Community Hero
Sharon Miner began volunteering at Forbes Elementary School in American Fork, Utah, 35 years ago and has been volunteering in the community ever since. Known affectionately as “Mrs. Miner”, she lovingly shares her time and talents while helping the students learn how to read from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., 4 days a week.
Because of her dedicated service, the Mountain America Dream Team dropped by Forbes Elementary to give her an extra special surprise. Surrounded by students and faculty, Mrs. Miner was honored with a newly-furnished reading nook, dedicated in her name.
