Second Annual Southwest Idaho Credit Union Super Market Dash

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, the Southwest Chapter of Idaho Credit Unions held the second annual Super Market Dash at Ridley's Grocery Store in Middleton. Up bright and early at 6:00 a.m., eight credit unions, including Mountain America, had teams ready to run through the aisles at Ridley's. The teams had two minutes to load up as many items in their carts as possible.

The donations went to local food banks and pantries, including Idaho Food Bank, the Middleton Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House Food Pantry, and the Boise Rescue Mission. This year's Dash raised nearly $3,000 worth of food donations, with their efforts boosted by Ridley's, who included special discounts in support.

Participating credit unions included Mountain America Credit Union, CapEd Federal Credit Union, Clarity Credit Union, ICON Credit Union, Idaho Central Credit Union, Northwest Christian Credit Union, Pioneer Federal Credit Union, and Simplot Employees Credit Union.
