A Warm Holiday Surprise
Alana Reid is much more than just a crossing guard for Mountain View Elementary School. She is on a mission to make the world a little brighter, one child at a time.
Not only does Alana keep the students safe on their way to and from school, she also makes a point of learning as much as she can about them and their families. She even keeps her pockets stocked with treats for the neighborhood dogs!
Alana’s kind deeds and amazing attitude have not gone unnoticed. Wendy Turner, the owner of Hook and Ladder Café, located just around the corner from the school, nominated Alana for a visit from the Dream Team. She specifically requested a thick winter coat for Alana to help keep her warm while she works.
The Dream Team was fortunate enough to witness Alana in action and brought her a special surprise! Check out the full video to see just what the team had in store for this wonderful member of our community.
