A Spooktacular Surprise for a Special Breast Cancer Survivor

For Jessica Ehlers, Halloween is everything! Whenever October rolls around, she decorates her front yard for all the neighborhood ghosts and goblins to enjoy. But this year, she was unable to “spookify” her yard because she’s currently recovering from breast cancer treatments. 

To put a little treat back into a year full of tricks, her grandson, Markus, contacted the Dream Team to see if we could cast a spell to help cheer her up. 

The Dream Team brewed up the perfect potion in the form of a basket filled with her favorite Halloween treats. But the real surprise was yet to be revealed. Lurking at the bottom of the basket was an envelope containing a special message—a trip to Alaska to see the Northern Lights, a dream Jessica has had since she was in the 7th grade!

Thrilled for what lies ahead, Jessica was all smiles and can’t wait to fly to off on her next adventure!
