Honoring a Tooele Special Needs Teacher
Being deaf hasn’t stopped Heather Wilson from supporting students with special needs. In fact, she has dedicated her life to instilling fundamental skills to help them flourish in adulthood.
In hopes of bringing Heather the recognition and appreciation she deserves for always going above and beyond, the parent of one of her students nominated her for a visit from the Dream Team.
When Heather was asked why she does what she does, she said, “Honestly, I do it because of my students. They are amazing people, and they need to be given a chance.”
