Enter Mountain America Credit Union.

In this video, Christine shares why she chose Mountain America and how it helped her stay on track. Learn more about her in our one-on-one interview:

Mountain America: What motivates you to do what you do?

Christine Grenney: So much of my why is because of my where. I am passionate about the Park City community and consider myself an ambassador for our close-knit mountain town. I also believe that it’s my responsibility to shape the future of our culture and lifestyle, which includes enriching my family’s life. This commitment to my clients and my girls is a responsibility I take seriously.

MA: If you could go back in time, what “lesson learned” would you impart to your younger self?

CG: Truthfully, there is nothing I would really change. I have lived and worked all over the country and have learned from my successes and missteps. I have found that the challenges we encounter are even more valuable than the experiences which are seamless and smooth. Overcoming obstacles in what we are doing and who we are doing it for early on allows us to better determine what feeds our soul and gives our life purpose.

MA: Do you ever have doubts about the path you’re on? How do you overcome those and continue to provide stellar service to your clients?

CG: My career is different every day—it gives me freedom while, at times, being very demanding. But the joy that I get from providing every client with exceptional service is because they trust me to deliver on my promises.

MA: What has been your most satisfying moment or achievement thus far in your life?

CG: Undoubtedly giving birth to my girls, Lila and Anika, is the greatest achievement of my life.
Professionally, I have seen the fruits of my labor and dedication pay off to a degree that I no longer feel the uncertainty that someone newer to the business may feel. I have a sense of security knowing that I have cultivated a loyal and supportive following. My achievements are easily measured in numbers but the real success stems from my clients and peers respecting how I do my job. Every closing, regardless of the size, is important tomy family and me.

MA: What are you looking forward to in the future?

CG: I look forward to creating a work environment that gives me more balance. My intention is to demonstrate to my daughters that they can achieve anything with dedication and perseverance. Both of these goals include instilling confidence in those close to me. I will continue to strive to be supportive and available to those I care about. It's no coincidence that this is exactly the same value I was looking for when I chose to work with Mountain America.

MA: What led you to Mountain America originally?

CG: The partners I choose to work with—both professionally and personally—are invaluable. I look for people and companies that work tirelessly, just like I do, and who put their customers first. I originally sought out Mountain America to open a Health Savings Account—they were local and didn't charge unnecessary fees. I later turned to them for a larger need when many of the big banking institutions required more time to execute.I have a lot of demands on my time. Having a partner like Mountain America, one that I can unequivocally depend on, is what allows me to perform at such a high level in my business.
