The McKnight Family's "Cool" Surprise

John McKnight is as kind and selfless as they come—he’s always putting others first by finding ways to help his neighbors. This giving spirit shines through even though he has his own troubles. John is in need of a liver transplant and his wife, Dawna, who has been the breadwinner for the family, was recently laid off.

On top of all the hardships they’ve endured, the McKnights have also been living in sweltering heat because their air conditioning unit is broken. The Mountain America Dream Team heard about their very sticky situation and quickly jumped into action to give back to this deserving family. 

Recently the McKnights were visiting a chalk art festival where they ran into the Dream Team who were about to give them the “coolest” surprise gift.
