Grateful Moms and Miracle Makers Surprise Founder of Hushabye Nursery

With an average of two babies born in Arizona every day withdrawing from opioid dependency, Tara Sundem’s mission to help new and expectant mothers (and their babies) struggling with addiction is more important than ever.

As a neonatal nurse practitioner, Tara is uniquely qualified to make a difference—that’s why she recently opened the doors to Hushabye Nursery. Here, substance-exposed children and moms struggling with addiction during or after pregnancy can receive integrative care and therapeutic support.

Hushabye Nursery’s mission statement says it all—embracing substance-exposed babies and their caregivers with compassionate, evidence-based care that changes the course of their entire lives.

Living this mission every day, and selflessly serving her community, Tara has dedicated her time and resources to providing a safe haven for those in need. With little time for herself, some of the women Tara has helped nominated her for a special visit from the Miracle Makers. Watch the video above to see the full surprise unfold!
